Great News!!!!

Kevin has a new job!!!! Since Kevin and I started dating about 3 years ago he has worked building log homes. This job has required a lot of travel so he is only home for a weekend every now and then. Well finally he has been offered a job with Clear Channel and he will be home full time. This is a major answer to many many prayers. I am so happy and can't wait to start this new journey! I am very proud of him and I hope he loves his new job.!!! This well be an adjustment since I have my routines down, so we need to buy another big screen cause I am not sure how he will like watching all my shows. HAHA!!

American Idol Final 3...

Well tonight is Idol and I am so excited. I can't wait to see the hometown visits. I know that Kris' will be amazing. I was shocked at how many people came to all of his events. I wish I would have gone, but oh well. I am getting my fingers ready for the big vote tonight!!! Last week I voted more times than I ever have...lets just say it was in the thousands. I learned how to text like fifty at one time. I hope everyone will vote tonight!!!

The countdown begins.....

17 days until school is out!!!! This time of year I get so excited because summer break is about to start. It seems like yesterday that I started teaching and I am about to finish my 5th year. I said that once I had taught a grade five years I would move to another one. Well, that is not going to happen. I love Pre-K and I feel that after five years I am just now getting the hang of things. My kids this year have been really good and they have taught me many things about patience...haha!! No, all in all they have been good, and now I have to let them go. I get really nervous because they have come a long way and can do things without much assistance and when August rolls around I will be begging for them to come back because my new group will look and act so little. They will not know how to make a line, zip their pants, tie their shoes, wipe their bottoms (which I do not do), unbutton their pants, hold scissors, how to hold a lunch tray, how to say my name, how to sit criss-cross apple sauce.....i could go one forever. Needless to say it is a huge learning curve.

I think I will start praying for those little ones that will be coming to meet me in just a few short months. My mom always reminds me that these little ones are so precious and you never know what a impact you have on them. You never know how many times their parents tell them they love them or if they read to them or if they know who Jesus is. I teach at a public school and we don't teach those things, but I can pray for each one and hope that someday they will come to know the Lord and I can give them love!!!

I hope you have a wonderful week!!
